government of Delhi has proposed the Delhi
Awas Yojna which is a plan that is aimed towards making home ownership a
possibility for the people belonging to the low and the middle-income groups. Delhi Awas Yojna 2019 is inspired by the
Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna and it comes with the bold vision of providing
cost-effective housing solutions to the people of Delhi and even the
surrounding regions like Greater Noida, Noida, Ghaziabad, and Gurgaon.
Eventually, the government of Delhi will try and get some revenues by meeting the
housing requirements of Delhiites within an affordable range.
New Delhi Awas Yojna has been put in place by the Delhi Housing Society in collaboration with the Antriksh Group. New Delhi Awas Yojana is a project that
has duly been envisioned on the lines of Land Pooling Policy and Master Plan
Delhi 2021. It is being constructed on the PPP model that has been approved by
the Ministry for Urban Development. The starting price for the flats under Delhi Awas Yojana will be Rs. 16.8
lakhs.
